Really interesting California Riesling with Loire-Esque texture and minerality. Tons of juicy ripe tropical fruit, like a canned pineapple cocktail. Pretty outrageous wooly texture and limestone salinity and minerality. It’s sorta lacking acidity to fully bind it together and counter the sickly sweet tropical fruit, but it’s definitely a fun wine made from great old-vine fruit.

Skin fermenting gives it a rich, slightly phenolic counterpoint to the lovely fresh fruit. Limestone, nice acidity and a hint of petrol on the finish bring it home. Very much riesling, very much something entirely different. 🍍🍊🥜🤤
