My Gut Hermannsberg journey starts now. This is a blend of young vines from their 7 GG sites. Classic Nahe nose. White cherries, slate, minerals, lanolin and very expressive and aromatic. Seriously gorgeous minerality. Palate is superbly mineral with great freshness and slatey/mineral intensity. Almost a mineral sweetness and the finish is terrific. Awesome purity and balance. Just a terrific intro into what this estate can do. There is some white cherry and maybe some peach fruit but pithy for sure. This is a mineral bomb.
