Opens with a sweat dark cherry nose. Always take a sip just after opening to compare to the after decanting sips. First sip was wow, then after decanting it was just luscious. Gentle raspberry fruits mix with subtle hints of oak and lingers in the finish. The acid was well in check with this wine. Can’t wait to enjoy this over the upcoming years.

Oct 5th, 2016This 2012 has an aroma to me of blueberries with a little earth and spice mixed in for a good start. The flavor is mix of dark fruits of which cherry sticks out the most to me. It is smooth on the palate with nice tannins and is something to be enjoyed. #GundlachBundschu #pinotnoir
