Deep fruit, vanilla/dill(American oak?), cedar, plum, noticeable alcohol, nice acid, caramel, spice and a bit of earth. For the vintage, the tannins are softening up nicely. In a pinch, it's doing well with some "I'm single and made way to much awesome pasta sauce" :)

A great meet-up of old world and new. Soft, but full-bodied, with steady acid and oak-tinged light red fruit. Delightful finish. A nice rendition of Tempranillo for California.

Jun 11th, 2015Silky smooth and drinking beautifully after 14 years. Still quite a bit of life left if anyone has bottles lying around.

I'm not kidding, smells like chicken soup. Heavy parsnips with a clay background.

Still a bit young. Decanted almost 2 hrs. Grapey, earthy spice and rich.
