Easily one of the best still rosés I’ve ever had. Gobs of fresh, lean fruit complexity. Subtle herbaceousness, leesy savory richness. Nothing overripe. Beautiful, mouthwatering acidity. Clean, refined and sturdy structure. All of it’s characteristics are typical to great Pinot Noir. Way to make a rose to shame other PN rosés. I’m told it’s the winemaker from White Rose’s family’s own wine, and family-run company. Not Saigneé, but picked to vinify rosé, 50 percent whole cluster, Domingo vineyard Willamette Valley AVA. Thank you Donnie from Jackrabbit for the wine.
