Cornas from the Chaillot vineyard with rack of lamb. Yes and Yes! This wine has really grown into a serious, grippy and fragrant wine. 08 coming around in N Rhone to prove a lot of folks wrong.

Bacon fat, subtle garrigue. This was quite disjointed and hot at first. Took some time (not decanted) to become more harmonious. That said, it was still hot and never really sung. However, if I were at a bistro and they served me this with steak or lamb, I'd be over the moon.
