Like no other Aligote I’ve ever had, Florality is what stood out here. Great wine but so atypical of what I think of for aligote. Maybe it’s the vintage, maybe the producer, loved it, want to drink it all day every day.

This is the friend who you’re always happy to see but would never explicitly reach out to. Enjoyable but doesn’t fill you with joy, engaging but far from fascinating and bright though only in a warm not illuminating way. Nice, but only nice.

Really, really nice. More crisp than a Chardonnay. Quite quaffable! 80 degrees but in a beautiful garden with a beautiful boy and I am wearing a new beautiful dress!!! Mineral nose.
