Lovely bottle approaching maturity with high toned notes of violets accenting red cherry, red plum and red current fruit. There is a fine core of all spice and cardamom wrapped in red cherry and red current fruit flavors. Tannins are present but precise with a touch of minerality that adds freshness. Finish shows earth, spice and red fruit. Drinks well know with 5 to 7 years of prime left.

Fresh and bright with red cherry and plum fruit accented with tar, floral and brown spice notes. Palate has lovely texture with nice fruit and round tannins. Lacking a touch of depth and complexity that I would have expected with the bottle age. While not profound, very pleased to have 6 more bottles.

A delightful wine on the cusp of maturity with high toned floral and spice notes that mingle with black and red cherry fruit plus a lovely earthy mineral streak. Superb balance of fruit tannins and pointed Nebbiolo acidity. Juicy plum, red cherry and cassis fruit on palate. Lingering mineral and tannin gripped finish.
