A lovely and complex white Merlot from Ticino, very different than most Blanc de Noir that I had to date and certainly the most complex of them all. A light golden color, rich nose floral, with some summer fruits, butter, smoked barrel and minerals, full body, creamy, rich complex woody yet fresh with a touch of bitter acidity. Long creamy fresh finish. My score 88, drink to 2019.

Really unfamiliar. Clearly aged in new oak which kinda warped my understanding of what a white Merlot from Switzerland might be, but powerful honeysuckle was there, a bit of alpine grassiness and talcy lilac.
