Jul 7th, 2020What a difference a year makes! This is much more assertive than the 2016. It has a rich and long finish. Elements of rioe melon and floral, as well as the typical SB smell. I enjoyed it while Tom thought it had Chardonnay elements.

It has hints of “grassiness” without making you feel like you are a sheep chomping in a pasture. It would be a great choice for a warm day in which you want something light and refreshing, but want to take a break from the often super light pinot grigios.

Nice sauvignon blanc, not as light & crisp as I usually expect from from SB, more reminiscent of a Chardonnay, but still really easy to drink.
