Bright #argentina #cabernetsauvignon with strong bramble fruit character. Uncorking reveals a lot of vanilla from oak aging but extended decanting mostly airs this off leaving some cocoa and fruit aromas. Deliciously bright acidity on the palate, semisweet chocolate and medium roast coffee notes leading into generous tannins that linger in the finish. Outstanding QPR here for $8.50 at Total Wine.

Oddly vegetal with strong notes of olive and greens, unusual for a Cabernet. Mild tannins with notes of blackberry and a trace of cola and tobacco, but the olive note overpowers all other notes both on the taste and the finish. If you like that olive/green taste, then you will probably like this wine. If not, then not.
