Dec 25th, 2019The nose features black, blue and purple fruit, menthol, tobacco, tilled earth and the alcohol pushes through a bit. The palette is strongly tannic and a bit tart - could definitely use more time in the bottle or at the very least some serious decanting. There's black plum, firm earth and some late vanilla - this one smells like warm climate but drinks like cool climate. The pieces are there, I just think this one needs more time.
