Morandina Amarone della Valpolicella Corvina Blend

Pure and silky. Very finessed considering the abv. Not overly concentrated. Not clunky. Extremely elegant and polished Amarone.

Reddish brown coloration. Some transparency. On the nose, black cherry and some forest floor. On the palate, medium mouthfeel, initially, then a rich black cherry with vanilla takes over through a medium to longer finish of same. $79.99 at B-21. Somewhat atypical amarone.

Outstanding but a bit atypical Amarone. Going strong on it’s fruit, perfect sweetness embedded with enough acidity bringing a superb balance. Wow!

A wonderful wine very smooth with a slight spicy taste as it settles in your mouth.

Agree with some other opinions, not mainstream. Red transparant, cherry nose, chocolate and tar. Mouth very pure and well balanced. Creamy.

Classic, full bodied, not too fruity, but with plenty of flavor. Very smooth as it opened up over time.
