What I love about this bottle is that it’s stylistically correct and yet, very obviously Italian. I thought this was loaded with cassis and tobacco with a sort of Italian “dust” that I find in the better, more authentic Super Tuscan wines. Fantastic structure for being the Rosso. I can only imagine how well the 2015 Superiore will be when I finally get around to pulling the cork in one of the two sleeping in my cellar. These Rossos are just fine to drink now but will age well for the next five years.

Interesting blend with floral and dark fruit aromas. The palate is somewhat complexity with cassis, blackberries, and mushrooms. Very nice.
