Beso de Vino Old Vine Garnacha

There is a very pronounced earthy streak running through this one. The cherry aromas and flavors are there, for sure, but they are struggling to burst through a heavy layer of earthy sediment. I think of it as “dirty cherry.” The rustic nature actually makes me think of rusty, as in a piece of metal covered in iron oxide.The structure is a little weak, but that makes it very sippable. The minerals will go nicely with a piece of lean beef or pork.

Deep tasting garnacha... Paired with a curry, or something spicy worked well for us.

Smoove

Earthy notes, moderate tannins and mild acidity mark this red. The bouquet is not very pronounced, and the finish is mid card. Overall, not bad for an airplane wine.

Exploring the grenach of Spain I am enjoying them all at every level of the spectrum...this is sweet without being too clinging and finishes really dry abruptly.

Cheiro bem licoroso de um #syrah que surpreende até que não gosta da uva. (: bem adstringente e alcoólico. Vale tomar mais gelado.

Grand Tasting

Easy, fruity. Nothing exceptional.

Very mild, nice light flavour. Great everyday wine for the price but lacks that punch of flavour I oh so crave.
