Deep ruby red. A little bit of heat on the nose to start, as well as being a bit mute and soft. Finally opened up with some dark berries and purple floral notes. Medium acidity and tannins (6/10) with a medium plus body. Layered palate with a fruit attack, cinnamon, vanilla, dark raspberries, red currants, and dark cocoa. Long and dry finish. Drink till 2027.

Thin, not what an Oakville usually is. Disappointing. I had. Josh Cab with pizza the day before and it was more enjoyable.
