This wine utilizes the "Apassimento" method of drying the Merlot & Corvina grades before crushing them. The result is a rich hearty nose full of dried fruit, notably dates & figs. The hearty notes carry over to the body with added flavors of black cherry and cocoa on the finish. Soft unobtrusive tannins make this an excellent wine to have by itself, and it also paired well with traditional polish periogi. Excited for this to be one of our wedding wines! ($13.5) [1/23/19]

A bargain. Nice tannins. Some oak. Some earth and nicely jammy. Delicious.

On the nose, this is blackberry and violets. On the palate, this evokes a blackberry liqueur with Dutch licorice presenting right at the entry... Some bark too, but not in a dirty way. Lumber mill. This wine is not rustic at all but more savory in a classy dinner party way. The tannins are not the show here either but rather provide a soft bed for all that blackberry... The floral goes all the way from the nose through to the finish with a medium length. In our area this was a great, great value that I'll keep an eye out for!

Received this as a gift. Nice medium body wine. Definitely buy a bottle of this ourselves. Paired it with pork tenderloin and it was a nice compliment

Very drinkable with slight tang at end. Berry strong. Not as good the second day. From wine styles
