Ooh what a great surprise! Proof again that price doesn’t really matter with wine. Only €8, made here in Corfu, and subtly complex. A blend of 3 Greek grapes I didn’t know before: Kakotrygis, Malagouzia and Roditis. Petrol and sherry on the nose, which calms down after some air. Apple, pear and lemon fruits. Dry through and through, soft grip, with an underlying oaky vanilla cognac dimension. I have no idea how this was made, or if it was actually aged in oak, but it feels like it.
