At first I get subtle custard and red berry, reminiscent of a fresh English trifle. Quince floral notes a bit of fresh bread and hint of sharp citrus undercutting it all. Fine, lively bubbles really contribute to the sense of creaminess the nose initially invites but pretty quickly your palate defects some grip and phenolic bitterness. I love the aromatic and flavor complexity of this wine but it’s a little to tense for me in terms of texture and mouthfeel. Still a great value!

80% Pinot noir & 20% Chardonnay. Slight salmon color. Less bubbly than "champagne" but made in methode traditional. Vintage sparkling wine.
