Finding what I've been looking for in Carricante. It's got a marsanne/roussane-like nose with banana peel, the blossoms of some rich tropical fruit, and some sage or Cali bay leaf. The phenolic are nicely reigned in, and it has something of that weightless, rainwater characteristic that the Benanti Pietramarina has in such abundance. Little fruit on the palate, just texture, acid, and minerality. Faintly tannic finish.

Pale gold, medium bodied with limestone and bright citrus on the nose. Nice acidity on the palate with a smooth lingering finish
