Dry and very fruity on the palate with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.
Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco, coffee and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
Showing great complexity on the nose and palate.
Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself. Will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.

Showing blackberries, black currants, cooked plums, cedar, tobacco leaf, chocolates, coffee, herbs, spices, earth, light vanilla, black pepper and eucalyptus.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This is a wonderful Napa Cabernet. Rich and elegant with a soft mouthfeel. Fruit forward with nice complexity.
Drinking beautifully now as a 14 year old. Not too much in your face kind of wine, which is very nice to see out of Napa. Just a pleasure.
At its peak now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon is incredibly elegant and refined. Just starting to enter its plateau of maturity, the 2001 is distinctly medium in body - especially within the context of the year - with captivating aromatic presence and superb balance. This 2012 is at its peak now and beautiful red fruits, black fruits, stewed plum and hints of pepper on the nose. Black cherry jam on the palate with a lush and lasting silky finish coated with sweet tannins. Thanks to my good friend Joe Noll for sharing this great Napa Cab from Rutherford fruit.

I really like this rich cab. Great luscious mouthfeel and great black and red fruit. As much as I disliked their 2011, this vintage was a redemption.
