1 person found it helpfulJun 3rd, 2014Today we arrive at the last of our '03 on this bottle, many vintage's prior now in the memory banks as well. We fell in love with Anderson Valley Pinot Noir a long time ago, it always seemed to be the perfect balance of middle-weight flavors on the West Coast between the fruity PN's a few hours south, and the jammy PN's many hours north. We still buy this bottle every year since '97, but the quantities have lessened. In the late 2000's Duckhorn seemed to go crazy and instead of continually focusing on making one great bottle with Goldeneye, they diversfied like mad scientists. I'm thinking they got overrun by marketing folks at the top of their ranks. Nonetheless, it's always been a great bottle of PN.
