A new Pinot from the K Vintners crew, using cooler climate, high elevation fruit, ‘18 is first release. Light Ruby with aromas of fruit and earthy herbs. On the palate flavors of cherry and subtle spice, a touch earthy. Dusty tight tannins, medium(-) finish ending with fruit and spice. Good value, although could use a bit more depth!

Good bit of tannin on the finish. The first Washington Pinot I’ve had. Can imagine this going great with duck breast. You can tell these guys make a lot of Syrah from this bottling.
