Had this wine with Paradiso Cheese, figs, ham, grapes and crackers. The flavor was ok. The color and clarity passed and the way it clung to the glass too. I smell grapes, plums and a peppery spice. It is light on the fondue and mouth when the wine first enters but I am unhappy with the way the tannins abrupt late as it enters my throat, making me cough after swallowing.

Everyday drinking wine. Fruity, candy with a jam jelly finish. Good to wash down some pizza. Nothing more
