Not your typical Pinot noir, a lot darker, almost ruby port color. Honestly was odd at first because as I said not like a light stainless steel Pinot noir with a subtle port finish. After it opened up I started to take it more seriously. It has off- dry flavor like it suckers you in to being sweeter than it is like an asti-spumanti.
