#1000th Review# One of my all time favorite, this can easily crush many Amarone. Very young, no signs of tertiary notes at all. Sweet and warm spices, raisin, sweet cherries, mocha, dark chocolate and bright acidity. Best on day 2, very smooth texture. 15% abv and it’s well balanced. Wish I have more in the cellar!

At Maple & Ash in Chicago, a spot I was really impressed with. This was an elegant wow wine. Crushed rocks enveloped by sweet, dark red fruit. Ample tannic presence but no hard edges and absolutely no raisin-y qualities.

Wow! This wine is surreal. So deep and flavorful and smooth without being super fruity or jammy. Dark fruit flavors with a cherry top. Lush. Going to blow our roast chicken away.
