High acid, almost a citrus tang. Lovely fuchsia color. More complex than your average Barbera.

Tannic. Fruit forward. Dark fruits. 20% in new French oak; balance in used. Like it.

Very dry tannins. Dry. Some cherry notes. Opened up some as I kept drinking. On sale at Esquin for 13.99. not the best Barbera. Reminded me some of mine but less sweet. I would buy again.

Smooth and pronounced fruit with ripe black cherry and raspberry, slight tannic bite at the end. A very drinkable wine but lacking the depth of other barberas.

First sip: bad prunes. Going into pancetta pasta sauce. This will be interesting.
