Dinner with friends in Brooklyn proceeded with this rather interesting Barbera. I like Barbera a lot. I also like that it is a fraction of the price of the Barolos. The Scudetto, aged ten years, was showing beautifully with dense black fruits and plenty of grip. Ripe but with bite, it went beautifully with the lovingly prepared home cooked meal.

Probably my absolute favorite barbera . Great balance, fruit, tannin and acid balance. Buy it if you can.
