This is another example of how 2010 makes all things good. The decanter is too narrow (at a restaurant) so surface area is small. It needs a bit more softening. The nose is full of holiday spice-- nutmeg clove cinnamon. Taste is not as round. Solid not spectacular.

Was expecting more from a DOCG Barolo. Too oaky, too much vanilla.

Rich, aged dark brown red. Light spicy nose yet fine, fruity aromas and very subtle tannins.
