Had this with the 2011 CF. Same, decanted before drinking. This started off with a great nose and just got better and better with each glass.

Not bad but not memorable... Lots of sediment, so decant or filter. Wet earth on the nose, dark ripe fruits, tarragon, pink peppercorn,some acid that seemed a little aggressive/off balance, finishing with some vanilla oak, big tannins,and a touch of bitterness. It seemed much better with some smokey,herb roasted BBQ chicken.

Very nice bottle of wine. Part of a blind tasting and most people guessed either cab or merlot. Nice finish, good fruit.
