Barely starting to open into a drinking window, this is lean with black cherry, saddle leather, granite minerality and elegance. Medium-light body with tightly knit tannins and balanced acidity. Pretty textbook result from Nebbiolo in this region. Nice value.

Extremely closed, although approachable for a Barolo. Tried immediately, after an hour decanting and after five hours of decanting. Only got better, needs lots of time.

Mar 22nd, 2020A quintessentially Italian wine reminding me again of why I can never get enough--this Barolo, although rather straightforward in its profile, is a veritable gold-standard of that profile, highlighting all of the wonderful crushed red fruit, white pepper, rose petal, and Italian herbs that the appellation is known for. Marked by firm tannins, this wine will remain a staple in my cellar for years to come. The 👑!

Plum nose with a dry mouth. Awesome fruit flavors then a dry finish. This is my first Barolo so I'm excited to see what the others have to offer. Cheers!

Should've laid this up for years, however full of depth and character. Warning: Open and walk away for hours. Velvet tannins, leather, tobacco, dried plums and a hint of pepper. Enjoyable to the end.

Nice straightforward Barolo. Nose is cherry and red fruit. Lean body integrated oak and an edgy mineralilty.
