On open nose is a bit muted. Sweet dark pink roses.

Palate is almost watery. Liquefied rose petal texture. Not much here. Some rose extract. Hints of gorgeousness after an hour. Maybe like the echo of blackberry.

Odd. Let’s see how this develops.

My wife thinks this is very mildly corked which is killing the nose.

Very old school elegant.

This really needs a 90 minute decant at this point.

Nose: Dark red fruits, Cherries, Blackberries, roses, traces of tar.
Palate: Nice acidity, grippy tannins.
Poured first glass 1/2 hr before drinking.
Paired w Rabbit neck ragú. Tarry, mouth filing palate. Chocolate and coffee. Would be great to see this in 5-10 yrs.
