Pale ruby red with an orange/garnet rim. Not much fruit for me. Wet stone, black tea, and something else dark (tar? Leather?). The subtle starting but firm finishing tannin are nice enough. Medium acidity. Maybe it’s just my relative inexperience with Langhe Nebbiolo but alcohol is too present for me at the end. Which is too bad because I love how different the palate is here vs some of the other stuff I’ve been experiencing. Better day after open and 60 min decant.
