Gave this another try, this time with 3 hr decant. Totally different wine. Open, dark fruits, cab characters coming through and a strong backbone of acid. Crowd pleaser

Ruby red, lighter color than expected. Word that comes to mind is freshness. Lighter bodied and never grew over 4 hours being open. Got hints of deeper cab notes but they never blossomed. Curious if they will with some more age
