Gilded Letter 2018 Zinfandel Lodi, California
Drink in the opulence of the Double Gold medal-winning “Best of Lodi” Gilded Letter Zinfandel. Gilding is a process of applying gold, and in doing so the artist adds more value to an object. The winemaker of Gilded Letter has done the same for this Zinfandel. Full-bodied with firm tannins, it is voluptuous and formidable at the same time. Our experts love the richness of the red fruit and chocolate notes, but the real complexity comes with the subtle hints of cracked black pepper and spice. This Lodi wine shines with food, the structure holding up to the hardiest flavors. It retails for $23

Color- garnet
Brightness- yeah
Legs-long
Aroma- clove, chocolate,
Taste- gummy eraser, but not in a bad way, black pepper
Read through- Not easily
Yum, feels nice in my mouth
Doesn’t need ice or peanuts

Not much to recommend this one, fruit is not very forward, does has a slight peppery finish.
