Great oak / vanilla smell. Not the light Pinot Noir I'm used to from the states. Very bold and dry. A nice surprise.

Central Otago Pinot can really age - incredibly pure red fruit, interlaced with good acid, and silky mouthfeel.

Proof NZ Pinot can age. Lovely balance, much more complex than when young, savoury and best of all..no overpowering cherries.
