Lovely small organic producer (thanks, Anna!) The 2015 vintage is a bit softer, as you would expect, but has some green leaf notes that most would not expect from Barbaresco. After some air, many of the normal Nebbiolo notes begin to be noticeable... but this is a bit of a one-note Barbaresco currently. I look forward to what this family can do in the future. Sadly, on a follow up pouring, I can identify the problem: this wine is corked. Not in a big way, just enough to flatten out any flavor.

I am happy to up the ave score for this wine because I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of this small winery (3000 cases total) who are completely organic. The perfumes and aromas of this wine give you the typical aromas of roses and tar and juicy ripe black cherries. Full bodied but extremely silky and soft with no dryness or astringency ... not a powerhouse wine but an easy drinking ripe and silky barbaresco! Great value too

Lovely Barbaresco, with cherry, plum, blood orange, tobacco, rose, and wood. Delicious!

Peonies on the nose. So much fresh red cherry and a bit of earth on the palate. Nicely made, light style. This bottle was better than the other I had.
