I am sorry but... why? Why are your tannins sooo hard and unforgivable? Either you extract less, or you lower your yield to handle your ideas. At present, it ain’t working properly.

Fenocchio's 2015 Barolo Cannubi is soft and inviting, with racy curves, expressive aromatics and fine balance. Sweet tobacco, licorice, dried herbs, cedar and sweet red cherry are some of the nuances that emerge. The radiance of the vintage is evident in the wine's ripe profile and slightly forward flavors. My preference would be to drink the 2015 sooner rather than later. The Cannubi is the wine in which the warmth of the summer is felt most. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2019)

2020/12/20-21 with roasted quail over polenta, etc. A bit more shy and gentle than previously, but still a lovely old-school wine, red fruit and dried flowers - for me, perfectly enjoyable now
