Feb 25th, 2017My last wine of 2016. While young, it's still approachable. Nice balsamic notes, tar, and menthol on the nose. The mouth is red fruit with firm but balanced tannins. Lengthy finish. Buon Anno!

Aug 8th, 2016Opened for 3 days before I tasted this. Just starting to soften. Beautiful nose, good fruit, but the spice and grip has softened a little. But that's after 3 days. Sill has that ethereal Barolo quality though.

Jan 30th, 2016Un barolo pronto in bocca ma avaro al naso, stappato è chiuso e dopo un ora è ancora molto chiuso. La bocca regala qualche soddisfazione sia in aromi sia in struttura è soprattutto i tannini sono molto meno aggressivi rispetto ai tanti suoi coetanei. La base c'è ma è da risentire col tempo
