Not in prime condition as the fruit was a touch maderised. Still sported some cherries, menthol, and tar on the nose. High tannins and acidity. Not much complexity on the palate, which is probably due to bottle condition. Disappointing bottle.

Very simple and austere ... some notes of cherry licorice and violets, smoke and cured meat. Not thrilling and requires a long decant to get to the high notes.
