Nose takes a while to open up, but you can pull out minerality, floral elements, spices, herbs and honey. Fruit remains to be seen. Palate comes off extremely dry with persimmon, lemon rind, cooked bay leaf, and almond skin & wet gravel. Fruit takes a back seat in this wine, but there is some fine acid and body that keeps it firm.
