This wine is fruit forward. Not bad, but I was expecting an earthy dry wine. I think this would be nice paired with food

The palate is easy going too with a good acid drive, some nice creamy, blackberry jam notes, some width, some nice mouthfeel, very gentle tannins in the rear before a very long fruity, almost a tiny bit sweet, finish that goes on for a while. This is probably a crowd pleaser, but not the kind of thing I crave. Too "in your face", not complex enough, too easy going for my taste.

Mar 31st, 2024Really enjoyed this, pairs well with food. Full bodied, well balanced, not overly jammy. 2016
