Although I usually avoid Martini wines, this one was a pleasant surprise. A very good balance of fruit, oak and tannin. Blackberry is the predominant fruit. When the wine opens up the finish has a small amount of cigar smoke , vanilla oak and dark chocolate....And of course a surprise spice finish. Odd to be this strong (for a cab) in Cabernet, but welcomed.

Smooth and thick bodied, with deep cherry and Mocha flavors and a rich cocoa finish.

This is a decent wine, 2012. Full bodied with minimal but present tannins. Favors do not punch but good flavored. Recommend if price point is good.

I need to have this again. I thought I'd had it before but now I think I'm wrong and also I wasn't paying enough attention

Medium to deep ruby red. Dark nose with anise, gunpowder, dark berries, and gravel. Light spices and earthiness too. Medium tannins (6/10) and light plus to medium body. Notes of black cherries, spices, woody and some sweet spices. Medium finish. Drink till 2020.

Chocolate and candied fruit on the nose. Solid wine. Slightly fruitier than most cabs.

I let it decant for about an hour & a half then tried my first glass.
Strong on the nose with almost a dark cherry/ peppery smell.
I get a jammy blackberry with dark cherry/ subtle cocoa. Not as smokey as I'd like or nutty but I'll update this as the wine decants further
Drinking with my wife :)
