A blend of 80% Pinot Noir, medium lemon color with aromas of white fruits and citrus notes. On the palate crisp and dry with apples and pears, savory with mineral tang. Long ending with a bit of toasty miner character, nice!

This is the Extra Brut Legende Grand Cru. Star bright beige. Small bubbles persistent even in my Bordeaux glass. Toast-laden nose of baked apples and white spices. Deceptively racy acidity belies a rich palate of baked green apples and stony biscuits. Lengthy finish. The one upside of climate change is that these extra brut bottles are nowhere near as scary as they used to be. This is a fully approachable, fruitful wine that will still satisfy the “dry obsessed” in your group (even if it’s mostly psychological). Drink now. They’ll make more.

Drank 5/19/2022 PVB. Exceedingly dry, almost too much so, really nice though if you want to go there, and a good value, too.

Tasty and dry! Great nutty characters in both the nose and mouth. Changed dramatically as it warmed up. I’d buy again
