Scant note - a very pleasant surprise. Sweet palette with lots of vanilla. Round edges with nice tannins. Still has 3 - 5 years of runway.

A bit big for me, but I see the appeal. Big black fruits, anise, chewy leather. Sweet taste due to the alcohol. Needs beef dinner. Lacks acidity or subtlety.
