Nice and rich nose with dark cherry, earthy notes, coffee grains, dark chocolate, meat juice. This wine smells dense and intense. The palate is big and broad, yet easy-going. Nice cherry notes, soft mouthfeel, some matter, a big bright red fruit note radiating through and through. Very gentle tannins in the rear leaving a dusty, very fine grain tannic layer over a long finish with red fruit notes and a bit of a savoury, umami note that carries on for a while. This wine is not acid driven, it's all gentle and smooth yet there is a bit of complexity and it's very well made. Banger of a qpr wine at about 14 USD retail price in Poland.
