Vintage 2011 | how beautiful! A smell that opens up like a peacock tail: autumn forrest, violets and milk chocolate. Great rondeur, very nice wine totally á Point

Vintage 2012 | I smell a little musty impression, gingerbread, tertiary tones, clearly in its drinking window

Vintage 2015 | Rosehip in smell, after ten years still a tough taste, needs more cellar years imo

Vintage 2016 | I prefer this vintage in a vertical tasting of 2017, 2016, 2015, 2013, 2012 and 2011. Good smell with spices ( gingerbread/speculaas), much rondeur, pleasurable and juicy taste.

Vintage 2017 | the wine smell gives a warm impression with cherries and cacao. Not an easy taste, strict and indicating a bright future, much tannins.

Vintage 2013 | bummer: corked 🙁

Powerful wine but stilll elegant. Bramble and other dark fruit dominate. Cinnamon. Pleasant tannins. Freshness and length. Paired with Simmental steak and bearnaise. Great combination

This Blaufrankish is stunning. We bought Bought this wine in Vienna. Loving it! Full bodied, dark fruits and quite lush. It’s rich but not too heavy. Vanilla from some oak, dark red fruit. Layers of flavor. I wish I had more bottles!!
