Lovely nose, with ripe, yet restrained, dark fruit, showing some nice first signs of evolution, nicely integrated wood, fresh and airy, with a hint of spice.
On the palate this shows proper tannic grip, with juicy, polished, cool tannins. Blue & black fruit, a nice (if slightly dry) finish.
This is really nice!!
Blind I would have taken it for a Castillon easily

Probably the best bordeaux cuvee from austria from a high quality, traditional producer! Not overoaked. Balanced. Of course, cassis; plum; good acidity!
Bester bordeaux cuvee aus österreich! Gesellmann ist immr eine sichere sache! Cassis und zwtsche. Gute balance und säure! Feiner und passender holzeinsatz!

Unfortunately, tried 3 bottles and all were slightly corked. More apparent with a bit of time. Eventually opened something else... Was otherwise a very well regarded Austrian red.

2012 vintage
Еще молодо, но уже доступно. Классическая комбинация черной смородины, сливы, черники. Со временем в аромате появляются фиалка и гиацинт, в атаке тонизирующая ментольность, негрубый акцент горького шоколада. Длящееся ягодное послевкусие. Точные танины. Не зелено, свежо, компактно, но с хорошими объемом и структурой. В носе чуть тревожит еле ощутимый латексный тон, не повторяющийся во вкусе.
