Chablis Chardonnay
We’ll see how this opens up - more sourdough and phenolic bitter almond paste With lemon and lime shoved into the background- but I’m gonna sit down and stew over this

Apr 10th, 20162012, a mineral and fresh Chablis, light gold, crushed rock, minerals, grapefruit and lime, medium body, crisp fresh acidity, lacking a bit of depth, yet pleasant. A fine fresh elegant finish, my score 86+, drink to 2017

Jul 12th, 2013I seem to experience a better wine than many in these reviews. For me this is just about everything I want in a village Chablis, especially at $20. Dominated by chalky minerality and crushed rock, an undercurrent of sea spray that recalls a kimmeridgean Sancerre, fruit that is primarily in the lemon/lime spectrum with some hints of stone fruit and tart green apple. Fresh, with screaming acidity that makes it a good good foil, but will benefit from coming down a bit with time.
