Apparently, Schueller's is one of the dirtiest cellars going, and I have it on good authority (&personal experience) that 50% of his bottles will have gone to vinegar or worse. The other half however will be bottles like this; vibrant, alive, balanced, joyous. A hint of Brett at the end we suspect, but the imperfections are so well integrated into the structure; they make this as special as it is. 2011

Sep 5th, 2015This didn't last long. Slight petiance, pleasing (to my taste) volatile acidity, intense minerality, lean and very refreshing.
